Straighten Your Smile

Invisalign

Clear aligners straighten teeth without the look, the wires, or the dietary restrictions of metal braces — and you can take them out for meals, photos, and special occasions.

Invisalign uses a series of clear, custom-fitted aligner trays that gently move your teeth a fraction of a millimeter at a time. You wear each tray for about a week or two before switching to the next. Most cases finish in 6-18 months, depending on how much movement is needed.

Our Scottsville office handles Invisalign cases in-house — not referred out. Both Dr. Azevedo and Dr. Lee are trained in clear aligner planning, so you stay with your familiar dentist throughout the process. That continuity matters: minor refinements, attachment touch-ups, and questions about wear time get answered without driving to a separate office.

We start with a consult that includes 3D scans (no goopy molds), a clear treatment plan, and a digital preview of what your smile will look like at the end. If Invisalign isn't the right fit for your case, we'll tell you upfront and discuss alternatives.

Why it matters

  • Both dentists trained in Invisalign — done in-house, not referred out
  • Nearly invisible — most people won't notice you're wearing them
  • Removable for meals, brushing, and special occasions
  • 3D digital preview of your final smile before treatment starts

Questions we hear

How long does Invisalign take?+
Most cases finish in 6-18 months. Simple cases (mild crowding or small gaps) can be done in 3-6 months. We'll give you a specific timeline at your consult based on your scans.
How often do I have to wear the aligners?+
20-22 hours a day. You take them out only for eating, drinking anything other than water, brushing, and flossing. Wearing them less significantly slows your progress.
Is Invisalign more expensive than braces?+
It's usually in the same range as traditional braces — sometimes slightly more, sometimes comparable. Many dental insurance plans cover Invisalign the same way they cover braces. We'll check your benefits and give you a clear total before you decide.
