Doctor of Dental Medicine
About Dr. Solomon Lee
Dr. Solomon Lee brings a rare combination to your visit: an artist's eye for what looks natural, and 20+ years of clinical experience to make it feel that way too. Before dentistry, Dr. Lee earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration and Graphic Design from the Art Center College of Design and worked as a professional illustrator. He moved into dentistry because he wanted to work more directly with people — and use the same careful hands that drew for a living.
He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, where he received the Dean's Award in Clinical Excellence. Over the past two decades he has practiced as a clinician, taught as adjunct faculty at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, and contributed to public health programs across Virginia.
What that means for you: when Dr. Lee designs a crown, a veneer, or a full smile reconstruction, you'll see the artist's hand in the result. The new tooth looks like yours — just a little better — instead of a manufactured replacement. And whether you're seven or seventy, you'll be talked to like a person, not handed a script.
If you'd like to schedule a visit with Dr. Lee, you can request an appointment online any time, or call the office at 434-286-3326.
Dr. Lee sees patients alongside the rest of the Scottsville Family Dentistry team at 1936 West River Road. The office serves families from Scottsville, Charlottesville, Palmyra, Lake Monticello, Dillwyn, and across Albemarle, Fluvanna, and Buckingham counties.
