Dental Implants

Multiple Teeth Implants

When several teeth are missing in a row, an implant-supported bridge gives you back full chewing power without a removable appliance.

How it works

Two or more strategically placed implants act as anchors for a fixed bridge that fills in the missing teeth between them. Because the bridge rests on implants rather than your natural teeth, the surrounding healthy teeth are not touched.

Why patients choose this option

Implant-supported bridges are stable, natural-looking, and easy to clean. They preserve bone in the areas where the implants are placed, and they feel like your own teeth when you are eating and speaking.

Planning the case

Dr. Youn will walk you through what your case looks like: how many implants, where they go, healing time, and what the final restoration will be. You will always get a clear plan before treatment starts.

Why patients choose Dr. Tyler Youn, DDS for their implants

Implant dentistry rewards precision, planning, and a meticulous eye for long-term stability, three things Dr. Youn has built his training and his research career around.

  • BioHorizons system

An established, evidence-based titanium implant platform known for predictable osseointegration and long-term screw joint stability.

  • National research award

Dr. Youn earned the Academy of General Dentistry's national first-place research award for his work on implant screw tightening techniques and screw joint stability, a study directly relevant to long-term implant outcomes.

  • Hospital-based surgical training

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery externships at Broward Health Medical Center, Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital, and Harborview Medical Center.

  • Digital treatment planning

CBCT 3D imaging guides every implant case so the implant is placed precisely where bone, soft tissue, and your existing bite call for it.

Questions we hear

How many implants do I need for multiple missing teeth?+
Often fewer than the number of missing teeth. Implants act as anchors, and a bridge spans the gaps. For example, three missing teeth in a row can usually be restored with two implants and a three-unit bridge.
How is this different from a partial denture?+
A partial denture is removable and rests on your remaining teeth and gums. An implant-supported bridge is fixed in place and supported by implants in the bone. The implants slow bone loss and feel much closer to natural teeth.
How long does it take?+
Plan on four to six months from initial placement to final restoration, including healing time. The good news: temporary teeth let you eat and smile normally throughout the process.
What is the cost difference?+
Implant-supported bridges cost more up front than partial dentures but typically last decades longer. We are happy to walk through both options with written estimates.
